Soulmates are characters that you have rolled at least ten keys for by yourself. After becoming your soulmate, a character will be on your $sl, a global list of your soulmates.
Soulmates can be copied to a new server using the $soulcopy command. This command requires the receiving server to have invited Mudae for the first time within the last 30 days, and for the owner to approve any copies (same criteria as $haremcopy and $kakeracopy).
Soulkeys[]
Soulkeys are keys that you have rolled on a character yourself. Their only purpose is to track progress towards soulmate. Keys that somebody else rolled on the character do not count. You have to roll the key yourself for it to count towards your soulmate progress.
As an example of how soulkeys work, let's say your friend gives you a character that has 2 keys. You still have to roll 10 keys (roll the character 10 times) for the character to become a soulmate, NOT 8 keys. After you become the character's soulmate, the character would have 12 keys. You can give the character back to your friend, and they can roll 8 keys to become the character's soulmate. The character is now in both $sl lists.
- You can gain 2 soulkeys at once if the character gets double keys because of the Kakera Tower double keys perks.
- If key removal commands such as $removekeys, $fullresetkeys, or $selfresetkeys are used, it DOES NOT remove soulkeys. Your soulkeys will remain, meaning your progress towards soulmate remains.

Soulmate List[]
Your Soulmate list $sl is simply a list of characters you have soulmated on ANY server. If you soulmate the same character on more than once instance or server, then a number next to a character will appear indicating how many times you soulmate a character.
You can remove characters from your soulmate list using $divorcesl. However, keep in mind that once you have done this, you cannot get the same soulmate from the same server. You would have to use another server or another instance to claim the character and gain 10 soulkeys all over again for the character to join your list.
You can use Flags to sort and filter your soulmate list, including the soulmate list-exclusive flag d-, which hides number of soulmates of same characters.
- Custom Characters cannot be part of your soulmate list.
- Using $soulcopy is currently the only way to ever gain a new copy of Legacy Content, as $haremcopy does not work, and the characters cannot be claimed anymore.
- The soulmate list currently has no stated limit.
- It was limited before September 21st, 2021, so it is possible that if you rolled a new soulmate before that date and your soulmate list was already full, then the character would not be on your soulmate list.
