Rolls

Rolls are the primary way to get characters in Mudae. By rolling a character, you can react underneath it to claim it.

Types of rolls

Number of rolls

Base rolls

The base rolls for everyone on a server are primarily affected by the gamemode, the age of the server, and whether your server has Server Premium.

Servers that invited Mudae before/during January 2021 are considered old servers.

Note that the command $setrolls can be used to manually lower the number of rolls to a minimum of 2, regardless of which category your server falls under.

The command $togglereact 2 also changes the base rolls on servers to 7 rolls per hour (though using slash commands with buttons doesn't have this penalty).

Additional rolls

An individual person can gain more rolls in the following ways:

Boost

Additional rolls can be exchanged for increased kakera spawn, kakera from reactions, and/or wishlist chances using the commands $boostkakera and $boostwish.

Rolls resets

You can reset your rolls for the hour with the command $rolls. This will replenish your current hourly number of rolls.

Resets are gained by voting for Mudae on top.gg ($vote) and by using $daily every day. You can check how many resets you have available with $vote or with $tu (if added with $ta).

Stacked rolls

You can also get $us stacked rolls guaranteed from Kakera Loots. These are one-time rolls that can be used any time with $us, and then rolled using your choice of roll command. If not used by the hourly rolls reset, they will expire.

You can check how many stacked rolls you have available with $lk.

Note that after buying Kakera Loots a certain number of times, it is possible to get fractions of stacked rolls (0.7 and 0.4).

$mk rolls

$mk

Requirements: Premium

Roll a claimed character with a kakera reaction. This kind of roll will not reward keys or the gold key bonus (if you roll your own character).

$mk is only available through Premium. It refreshes hourly along with your other rolls, and also refreshes with the command $rolls. It can be obtained in the following ways:

Additional notes

• $mk rolls ignore personal disables, and automatically roll from the pool of all claimed characters in every roulette (like $m).
• The chaos key does apply if you roll one of your characters with over 10 keys; however, it will not be obvious because the number of keys are not displayed on the character. Some users add an $alias2 or use a certain embed color $ec for their soulmates so they can identify them.
• Other bonuses that affect the color of kakera (such as Sapphire IV and Silver Keys ) still apply to $mk.
• When $togglekakerasnipe 1 is active, kakera rolled from $mk cannot be sniped.

Appearance of Rolls

You can change the way rolls look in the following ways:

Toggle the display of various character stats during rolls.

• $toggleclaimrolls: enable/disable the display of claim ranks during the rolls
• $togglelikerolls: enable/disable the display of like ranks during the rolls
• $togglekakerarolls: enable/disable the display of kakera during the rolls

$randomimg

Change the appearance of images during your rolls (not when you $im).

• $randomimg 0: (default value) Images appearing during your rolls are not random.
• $randomimg 1: Images are random for ALL your rolls.
• $randomimg 2: Images are only random for your rolls of UNCLAIMED characters.
• $randomimg 3: Images are only random for your rolls of CLAIMED characters.
• $randomimg 4: Images are only random for your rolls of characters IN YOUR HAREM.
• $randomimg 5: Images are random for all your rolls EXCEPT for the characters from your harem.

Gifs:

• $randomimg gif 1: Gifs are never displayed when you roll.
• $randomimg gif 2: INSTEAD of displaying a random image, a random gif is displayed if there is any.

Custom images:

• $randomimg cust 1: Custom images are never displayed when you roll.
• $randomimg cust 2: INSTEAD of displaying a random image, a custom image is displayed if there is any.

Default values: $randomimg gif 0 and $randomimg cust 0

$rollsleft

Change where the '2 rolls left' message is displayed.

• $rollsleft 0: The message ⚠️ 2 ROLLS LEFT ⚠️ appears below the image. (Default value)
• $rollsleft 1: The message ⚠️ 2 ROLLS LEFT ⚠️ appears just above the image.
• $rollsleft 2: The message ⚠️ 2 ROLLS LEFT ⚠️ appears above the embed.
• $rollsleft 3: The message ⚠️ 2 ROLLS LEFT ⚠️ doesn't appear anymore.

Display name/series/keys under the image during your rolls (for mobile users).

$imglink

Display image links during your rolls.

$claimreact

Requirements: Moderator

Abbreviation: $cr

Syntax: $claimreact add emoji1 emoji2 emoji3 ...

Customize the emojis that appear under characters, used to claim them.

• Syntax to remove: $cr remove <emoji> ...
• Syntax to swap: $cr swap <customized emoji to swap> $ <new emoji>
• Syntax to reset all your emojis (default emojis will be used again): $cr reset
• See your custom list with $cr list

$kakerareact

Requirements: Admin

Syntax: $kakerareact <color> <emoji>

Customize the kakera rolls emojis.

• See your customized list with $kakerareact list
• Reset a color to its default value with $kakerareact <color> reset

List of possible colors, per order of value: purple, blue, teal, green, yellow, orange, red, rainbow, light

Can I claim a character without rolling them?

If someone else owns the character, they can trade them to you using $marryexchange or give them to you with $give.

If the server is new (invited Mudae within the last 30 days), you can copy your characters from another server over using $haremcopy or $soulcopy.

Otherwise, if the character is unclaimed, you can't just get them without rolling and you have to roll.

My number of rolls decreased, why?

• Decrease by 1:
  • Your server is in Mode 2 and turned on $togglereact 2 or $perstogglereact 2 / turned off $togglebuttons
• Decrease by 2:
  • Your server switched from Mode 1 to Mode 2 (new servers)
  • Your server lost Server Premium I (Mode 2 servers and old Mode 1 servers)
• Decrease by 3:
  • Your server is in Mode 1 (new servers) and turned on $togglereact 2 or $perstogglereact 2 / turned off $togglebuttons
• Decrease by 5:
  • Your server switched from Mode 1 to Mode 2 (old servers)
  • Your server lost Server Premium II (Mode 2 servers and old Mode 1 servers)
  • Your server lost Server Premium I (new Mode 1 servers)
• Decrease by 6:
  • Your Kakera Badges were refunded with $kakerarefund
  • Your server is in Mode 1 (old servers) and turned on $togglereact 2 or $perstogglereact 2 / turned off $togglebuttons
• Decrease by 8:
  • Your server lost Server Premium II (new Mode 1 servers)
  • You lost Player Premium I
• Decrease by 10:
  • You lost Player Premium II
• Number not listed/solution not found:
  • You used $boostwish or $boostkakera
  • An admin changed the number of rolls with $setrolls
  • You destroyed your $kakeratower with $destroy
  • Your kakera badges were refunded with $kakerarefund (but you didn't have all badges yet)
  • Your server had some other form of reset
  • Mix of the above reasons
