Kaori Miyazono is the main female protagonist of Your Lie in April. She is a gifted violinist attending the same school as Kousei Arima. She went to see him for the first time at a recital when she was still a child, and since then, she became passionate for the violin. She is a weak woman who went under several surgeries, after her hospitalization, she even physically changed, such as her skin fading a bit, and she missed school several times.
