Needs information on how flags are used in slash commands.

Flags are used to sort and/or filter lists in Mudae. They are generally letters combined with various symbols that can be appended to lists like $ima, $mm, $top, $wl, $ll, $sl, $fn, $adl (in gamemode 2 only), $tag (in Mudae World only), and most other lists. Flags can be combined with each other to further filter lists.

It's important to understand that flags are simply modifiers of the above commands: $mmi is not its own command, but rather just a modification of $mm.

Usage[]

Flags are always added directly to the end of the list command, with no space.

Additional notations when creating a list include:

  • $: A dollar sign ($) is also used to separate multiple arguments.
    • Using $ima <series 1> $ <series 2> will show characters from both series together.
    • Using $ima <bundle 1> $ <bundle 2> will show characters that appear in both bundles (not just one).
    • This is the case even when Mudae's $prefix is not $.
  • --: Two dashes (--) is used to exclude certain arguments.
    • Using $top --<series> will show the top characters while excluding the specified series or bundle.
    • Using $ima <bundle 1> $ --<bundle 2> will show the characters that are in bundle 1 while excluding characters in bundle 2.
  • =: The equals sign (=) is used to provide a second argument when multiple arguments are possible. It is most commonly used with the p and e flags when a series is also specified, since the series is the first argument.
    • Using $imap <series> = <text to search> will show the characters in the series with the specified text in their name.
    • Using $fn <series> = <note> will show your characters with the specified note in the series.
    • Separators can be used with either or both arguments: $imap <series 1> $ <series 2> = <text 1> $ <text 2>
    • Do not mix this up with the equals sign contained within flags like g= or k= — the usage is completely different.
  • &: The ampersand (&) is added to the end of $ima only when searching for two different bundles to show all characters in either bundle rather than overlapping characters. (See the second example under $ to show only overlapping.)
    • Using $ima& <bundle 1> $ <bundle 2> will show characters in either bundle.

Examples[]

Flags 2

Example of $wlt

  • $mmyc-: Characters in your harem which have keys and do not have an embed color.
  • $topuwg-: Top characters which have not yet been claimed, that can be rolled using $wa.
  • $wlt: Characters on your wishlist, displaying which roulette to roll them.
  • $mmk=y+: Characters in your harem, sorted by kakera value and displaying how many keys they have (including characters without keys).
  • $fnw=ri <note>: Only female characters in your harem noted with the specified note, in order of ranks, and showing images.
  • $mmo+a update: Characters you own from the most recent update, grouped by series.
  • $imahp marvel = spider: Male characters from the series Marvel whose name contains "spider".
  • $topmpq=i Joker $ Mario $ Dainsleif: Shows the main images of the characters with the exact main name Joker, Mario, or Dainsleif, in order of rank (because $top was used).
  • $imaem hololive = horns: Characters from hololive that are tagged with "horns", showing their main names.

Flag compatibility[]

Flags 1

Example of $imaa

Nearly all flags are compatible, even most flags of the same "type". They also work in any order.

  • The wh flag is actually a combination of the w flag and the h flag, and can also be expressed as hw.
  • The flags for keys and soulkeys, y and y!, can be combined to show both your keys and your soulkeys.
  • Even though $ima already has an "a" in the command, the a flag can still be used. For example, you can use $imaa Disney to show every character in the Disney bundle grouped by its series.

Some flags, when combined, are exclusive of each other. These include pairs like w= and h=, which will display no results. Other pairs, like o= and u, will have one tag override the other (the o= tag is used and u is ignored). Finally, r and l show a different set of results altogether when combined, averaging the claim and like ranks together.

Additionally, some tags which change the appearance of the list may not work with others:

  • The i flag, which shows the list as a series of cards instead, will cause flags like t to be useless: the data showing which roulette a character is in is already on a card.
  • The b flag does not show characters, but rather summarizes them by series. This will prevent any flags that display character information from showing up on the list. The a flag can be used instead to group by series and show characters.

Additional notes[]

Some flags have syntax that is not intuitive.

  • r and l automatically sort characters, but k does not, and the k= flag should be used instead to sort by kakera.
  • Usually, to show a list without something, a minus sign is used (eg. c-, y-, and e-). However, the n flag is used (not n-) to show characters without notes.
  • Usually, to show a list with and without something, and also showing information about that thing, a plus sign is used (eg. y+ for keys, c+ for colors, x+ for disables). However, when it comes to owned characters, the o flag works for this purpose, and o+ serves a different purpose.

There is no flag for wished, liked, or soulmated characters.

The flag k- can also be used with the command $im to show the base value without keys of one character: $imk- <character name>.

Removed flags[]

These flags have been removed and no longer work. They are replaced with other flags as detailed above.

  • yd (which previously showed keys, soulkeys, and embedcolors)
  • abc (old alphabetical order "flag")
  • c (which previously showed claimed characters - it was replaced by o flag variants, and c is now used for colors)

Other flags[]

There are some other flags which are only for use with certain lists. These flags may not serve the same function on lists of characters like $mm, $top, etc. Like normal flags, they can typically also be combined.

Pins[]

Main article: List of Mudapins
  • $mpd: duplicate pins
  • $mpe: pins shown in an embed
  • $mps: sent in DM
  • $mpf: full (all pins in order, including ones you don't have yet)
  • $mpm: missing pins only
  • $mpo <user ID>: other user's pins that you don't own
  • $mp <mudapin(s) ID>: show just the named pin(s)

Pokeslot[]

Main article: Pokéslot

The following are not exactly flags but still ways to sort/filter your Pokémon. They may also be used to sort your Pokémon using $sp.

  • $pd rare: Sort Pokémon by rarity
  • $pd sumrare:
  • $pd id: Sort Pokémon by National Pokédex order
  • $pd abc: Sort Pokémon alphabetically
  • $pd full: Show all Pokémon, including ones you don't have
  • $pd shiny: Show only shiny Pokémon
  • $pd leg: Show only legendary Pokémon
  • $pd beast: Show only UB Pokémon (ub also works)
  • $pd gen1: Show only generation 1 Pokémon (works for all generations)
  • $pd double: Show only duplicate Pokémon
  • $pd emoji: Show Pokémon as emoji so that they show up larger (e also works)

Soulmate list[]

Main article: Soulmates
  • $sld-: Don't show duplicate soulmates.

Alltags list[]

Main article: Character Tags
  • $atb+: Show all subcategories in $alltags.

Lists that flags don't work on[]

  • $im search results (except q flags). d flag shows details, but instead of images and aliases, it shows owner, roulette, claim ranks, and like ranks.
    • $ime, $imk-, $imo, and $imf are valid commands, and have similar effects to the e, k-, o, and f flags respectively.
    • $ime+ shows the tags only, without the image or embed.
    • $imo shows user ID, since cards already show the owner.
  • $fnall (except w, h, wh)
  • $disablelist (except v, d/t - the latter two behave the same)
  • $antidisablelist in Gamemode 1
  • $noteimglist
  • $addimglist
  • $a2list
  • Other lists which are unrelated to characters, such as $pinlikelist, $pokelikelist, and lists of users (they may have their own flags, see above)
