Disabling is a way to remove certain characters from your rolls.

Commands[]

$disable

Abbreviation: $d

Remove a series from YOUR rolls.

  • To remove a series from your $disablelist, use $enable <series> or $enableall
  • Use $disabledel ($dd) to autodelete your $disable message.

In Gamemode 2, when you disable a series, the same amount of disabled characters are enabled (you can't go below the limits mentioned by $limroul)

$disablelist

Abbreviation: $dl

Your list of disabled characters.

Options: d (details), v (vanilla), s (DM)

In Gamemode 1, it will show your overlap limit at the top; in Gamemode 2, it will show your pool limits (which are reached using $limroul).

$antidisable

Abbreviation: $ad
Syntax: $antidisable <Series>

This will enable all the specified characters for YOUR rolls.

It means those characters can be rolled even if they are disabled because of $disable or $limroul. It doesn't bypass the commands $togglehentai, $togglehorror or $serverdisable.

  • Use $antidisablelist ($adl) to see your list of antidisabled characters
  • Use $antienable ($ae) to remove characters from your $antidisablelist (or $aeall for all)
  • Use $antidisabledel ($add) to autodelete your $ad command

In Gamemode 2 only, you can antidisable individual characters or bundles. Use $adc or $aec to specify a character in the case a series shares the same name.

$limroul

Requirements: Mode 2
Syntax: $limroul <$wa limit> <$ha limit> <$wg limit> <$hg limit>

Define the number of different characters you can roll in each roulette (by disabling the less popular characters). Only applies to your rolls.

Disable the maximum amount of less popular characters (popularity by claim rank) with this single command:

$limroul 7000 7000 4000 4000

This command means you can only roll 7000 different $wa, 7000 different $ha, 4000 different $wg and 4000 different $hg. Less popular characters are disabled.

  • You can enable specific characters or series with $antidisable
  • You can disable specific series with $disable (the same amount of characters are enabled if you go below the limits mentioned above)

Only Player Premium and kakeraloots/kakeratowers let you use lower values than the ones mentioned above (thus disabling more characters). Note that you can just use $limroul 1 1 1 1 to be safe with your lowest limits.

$togglewestern

Requirements: Mode 1
Abbreviation: $tw

Completely disable western animanga characters for your rolls.

$toggleirl

Requirements: Mode 1

Disable/enable series with real people for your rolls.

$togglehentai

Requirements: Admin

Disable hentai series for the whole server. This cannot be overridden, and these characters cannot be viewed at all.

$toggledisturbing

Requirements: Admin

Disable disturbing/horror series for the whole server. This cannot be overridden, and these characters cannot be viewed at all.

$serverdisable

Abbreviation: $sd
Syntax: $serverdisable <character or series name>

This will prevent the character or the series from rolling for the whole server (limited to 1000 characters).

  • To remove some characters from the list, use $serverenable <character or Series name>
  • To specify a character when a series shares the same name, use $sdc or $sec
  • $serverdisablelist ($sdl): see the current list
  • $serverenableall: clear the list

$hideinfodisable

Hide the emoji indicating a character is disabled (for $im/$mmi).

Guide to disablelists[]

A guide written by SleepyRanger#2058 and edited by Ozzy.

"I've noticed that only a small fraction of people have disable lists, which means no matter how much a server resets the same people will be top every time. That's why I've decided to take some time to explain disable lists. This will be quite long so you can ignore if you want, but for those of you who want a better chance at rolling their wishes read the WHOLE thing."

Note: You do not need a disablelist in Gamemode 2, as it will not give you any better odds. This guide is only for Gamemode 1. For more information, see Gamemode.

1. What is a disable list, and how does it benefit me?[]

A disable list is a list of series or bundles (bundles meaning animation studios or genres, that contain multiple series inside them, hence the name bundle) that are BLOCKED from your rolls, meaning you CANNOT roll them. When you disable characters, you remove them from your rolling pool. This will give you a higher chance at rolling the characters you DO want to roll. Take this as an example: let's say you can only roll 100 characters in total. That means every time you roll, it would be a 1/100 chance to roll a character you want. If you were to disable 25 however, it would bring that 1/100 chance down to a 1/75, giving you a better chance at getting the character you want.

2. Why would I want to use a disable list if it might disable a series I like?[]

This is where the $antidisable ($ad for short) command comes in. You can use $ad <insert series name> and now you can roll that specific series, even though it might be part of a bundle you have disabled. Let's say I were to disable Studio Trigger, but I really wanted to roll characters from Darling in the Franxx. I would then use $ad Darling in the Franxx and I would be able to roll those characters, but not everything ELSE made by Studio Trigger. Antidisabling will not lower your disable list number, it'll simply bypass it. Or you can also wish specific characters. Anything in your wishlist is not affected by your disablelist. For premium users, anything in your wishserieslist is also unaffected by your disablelist.

3. How do I know what to disable?[]

You can use the $imab command to check the bundles of characters you roll. Say I were to roll Zero Two. I would then use $imab Darling in the Franxx to check the bundles the series is part of, and from there it would be my choice to decide which ones I want to disable. You can also check the wiki for a list of large bundles.

4. What does it mean to optimize my disable list?[]

There are 4 main rolling categories in Mudae: $wa, $ha, $wg, and $hg. Whenever you disable a series or bundle, you'll most likely end up disabling a few characters who are in all those pools. Optimizing your disable list simply means to prioritize as much as possible in one of those four categories rather than just get a large total number of disabled. For example, if you're doing $wa roll commands, what you have disabled in $ha, $wg, and $hg doesn't really matter since they have no chance of spawning anyway.

5. How do I know if my disable list is optimized?[]

To do this you have two main constraints:

  • The number of series/bundles disable slots, which is 15 (55 for premium users).
  • The number of characters disabled, which is 22428 (30734 for premium users).

When disabling bundles, most bundles tend to having some overlapping series, which results in you disabling the same characters multiple times. While 22,428 may seem like a large number, it will count duplicates, so you'll want to avoid this as much as possible. The best way to do this is to check your disable list with $dl after disabling any series/bundle. Then compare how many changes it makes to the specific category you want to disable, for this example $wa, and compare that to how much it increases your character disables limit slots. So if it increases your $wa disables from 3000 to 3100 and increases your character disables from 7000/20000 to 10000/20000, it means 2900 of those disabled were either already disabled or in the categories you didn't want, so this is probably not a good bundle to disable since it takes up 3000/20000 of your character slots while only adding 100 disabled to the type you actually want.

Additional information[]

Why is my disable list suddenly over the character limit, it was fine yesterday?[]

What's in a bundle is updated every day based on polls created by regular users in the official Mudae server. Additionally, about every few months, around 3000-4000 new characters are added to the bot from player suggests which causes a lot of new additions to the bundles as well.

Conclusion[]

You'll want to disable as many large bundles as possible, while keeping track of how much actual impact it has on the type of roll you'll be doing vs how many unnecessary character slots it's consuming. What percentage is acceptable is based on you, so making a disable list is ultimately a process of trial and error.
