Caterpie is a rollable game and animanga character primarily in the Pokédex series in Mudae. Caterpie is a Bug-type Pokémon that evolves into the Bug-type Pokémon Metapod, and eventually into the Bug/Flying-type Pokémon Butterfree. Butterfree has the ability to become Gigantamax Butterfree by Gigantamaxing. Caterpie, Metapod, and Butterfree were introduced in the first generation of Pokémon; Gigantamax Butterfree was later introduced in the eighth generation.
