Akira Nishikiyama is a character from the Yakuza series, and a main antagonist in Yakuza. Nishikiyama is the sworn brother of Kazuma Kiryu. Being the recluse of the duo, Nishiki often relied on Kiryu to get him out of tough situations, but at the same time always tried to prove himself. After Kiryu took the fall for Nishiki's murder of Sohei Dojima, Nishiki was forced to live without his sworn brother. Over that time, he became a ruthless crime lord and the head of his own family in the Tojo Clan. During Yakuza, he planned to force himself into chairmanship of the clan, something led to a clash with his now released sworn brother, Kiryu.
