Akashi (AL) is a game waifu primarily in the Azur Lane series in Mudae. She is the repair ship of the Sakura Empire. Her real counterpart is IJN Akashi. Akashi is also an important figure in the game, playing the role of the shopkeeper for gems and purchases with real life money. She is the only character unlockable by a quest, requiring a minimum of three weeks to be completed. In order to get her, the commander has to pat the shopkeeper Akashi a certain number of times before the quest starts. This requires resources, clearing of some maps and daily tasks. Alongside this, paw prints hidden on the interface of the game must be collected in order to build Akashi's Paw, an item that enhances the efficiency of Akashi as a playable character. Only after this, Akashi is unlocked in both light and special construction, and is given to the commander.
As a character, Akashi freely offers her services to the commander. She has the appearance of a cat girl and frequently uses the phrase "nya" (typical of a neko). It is possible to pat her with the Live2D skin.
